The main two scales I work in are 1/700 and 1/350 these have emerged as the preferred choice for both collectors and the model maker alike however I can build in others upon request. When I set out to build a model the main goal I set myself is to represent everything as accurately as possible I do this through my knowledge in this field and my reference material such as plans and photos, the warship models are also painted in admiralty matched paints this results in very accurate representations of the chosen subject.

H.M.S. Daring D32 (Diorama)

H.M.S. Daring is the royal navy’s latest destroyer she is currently receiving her full weapons fit, this class of destroyer is the most powerful and capable in the royal navy’s long history and her builders will argue in the world. They will provide air cover for the Royal Navy’s future aircraft carriers.
I chose a seascape to demonstrate the type 45s great manoeuvrability I felt this was the best way to show these ships at their finest. This model has just been recognised as a Bronze medal model in the world show 2015. The model has a clear Perspex cover which means it’s ready for display. (THIS IS A VERY LARGE AND HEAVY DISPLAY PIECE)
H.M.S. Montrose F236
Price £250
H.M.S. Montrose is a type 23 frigate built and commissioned in the 90s she will continue in naval service until the next class of frigate replaces her around 2030. Built from a resin kit this is a very accurate representation of this handsome class of ship. The model received a silver medal award in the world show in 2013.

H.M.S. Brilliant F90
Price £200
H.M.S. Brilliant was a type 22 frigate and preceded the type 23 she was most famous for her role in the Falkland’s war she also became the star of a TV series shortly before defence cuts shortened her naval career.
The model is from one of the first resin kits ever produced and this kit was from a very limited run. In 2013 the model received a bronze medal from the world show.

H.M.S. REPULSE 1938

H.M.S. Repulse was built in the First World War as a battlecruiser however she has become most famous for what happened to her in WW2; she became the first capital ship in the world to be sunk by aircraft while underway and fully battle ready.
This signalled the end for the battleship as a superpowers most potent weapon and changed naval warfare forever. This model is built from a plastic kit with a mass of etching added to represent the very fine detail work on these beautiful ships. I chose to represent Repulse in her 1938 fit. This was the first model I entered into scale model world and she received a commendation from the judges.

DKM Admiral Hipper 1940
Price £525
The Admiral hipper was a kreigsmarine heavy cruiser of the Second World War she was a very modern and capable ship, she served in all theatres however within sight of the wars end her luck ran out, she was caught in harbour and bombed beyond repair.
This model is a plastic kit which I decided to back date to an earlier fit a lot of scratch building had to be done to achieve this goal. The model now represents Admiral hipper in her Norwegian fit.
